What would you think of crossing the Pacific Ocean on a seakayak, starting
from a small fisherman village in the North of Chile and then reach the Humbolt
Penguin National Reserve at the fronteer with the Atacama region?
The Dama Island
These three islands are surrounded by crystalin water and white-sand beaches that host a wide number of protected species such as marine otters, penguins, a great number of marine birds and the unique colony of bottlenose dolphins in Chile.
We
will start our trip from La Serena at 8:00 am. We will arrive at Punta Choros
at 11:00 am. All the equipment we need will be set in a boat and in the kayaks,
and we will sail to the Dama Island. First of all, we will discover the island
and its remote places.
Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus)
