According to the type of expedition, the program includes:

Transportation to carry out the expedition, such as Minivans, 4x4 trucks, horses, bikes, crafts, canoes, kayaks etc.
Food according to the expedition program.
Accommodations , which can be in hotels, shared rooms in lodges, cabins or tents.
When camping, ABTAO will provide all necessary equipment, except personal gear and sleeping bag.
First aid kits.
Specialized guides for each expedition.
Tickets to enter National Parks, National Monuments and reserves and any place that may require an entry fee.
Field Guides and brochures made by the ABTAO team, related to each expedition will be available at no charge.
Optic equipment for Wild Life watching will be made available. However it would be appreciated that every participant bring its own binocular.

Not included, except if explicitly stipulated:

Personal Life Insurance or any other type. The participant may ask ABTAO to contract it in their behalf.
Air fares, airport taxes, excess luggage weight fees, communication charges, except if stipulated in the expedition program.
Meals not included in the programs and extras.
Transportation from and to the airport.

Fees:

The fees for the different expeditions are those stated in the web page and in the ABTAO catalogues. ABTAO reserves the right to change them , being the current value the one published at the time of payment.

Reservations for several day expeditions:

A.-Reservation 45 days or more before the expedition

25% of the total price in advance to make the reservation, and the balance up to 30 days prior to the starting day of the expedition. This payment is not refundable.
If the balance is not paid within the 30 days before initiation, a 10% penalty will be added.

B.-Reservation between 45 and 30 days before expedition

The total amount must be paid when the booking is made.

Booking Cancellations :

A.- In case of a cancellation made 30 days or more prior to the beginning of the expedition, 25% of the total cost will be retained by ABTAO. The rest of the money, if so, will be given back to the client whithin the next 30 business days.
B.- In case of booking cancellation made between 30 to 15 days prior to the beginning of the expedition, ABTAO will retain the 50% of the total amount, and the rest of money, if so,will be given back to the client whithin the next 30 business days.
C.- In case of booking cancellation made between 15 to 0 days prior to the beginning of the expedition, ABTAO will retain the 100% of the total amount.

Payments:

A.- In cash, in the company office.
B.- Personal check extended to Imexin Ltda., in its Santiago offices.
C.- Money transfer by Western Union.
D.- Wire transfer to the BANCOSANTIAGO in Santiago, Chile account number 05-01767-0 ABA

Health Conditions:

The participant is personally responsible for his health condition and physical capacities when participating in any one of the expeditions.

The participant has to make a full checking of his physical and mental health state, which have to be given to ABTAO at reservation. In this statement, the client must declare his former sicknesses, rushes, current prescriptions and any other aspect related with his health state. ABTAO is not responsible for any evaluation of syquic or phisycal condition of the participants.

The father and/or mother participating with their children will be completely responsible for them.

In the event that a participant experiences a health complication (physical or mental) during the expedition, ABTAO will have the right to terminate without any refund , his (her) participation.

Insurance:

For the participant benefit, it is highly recommended to have a personal travel insurance to cover accidents and health care. Otherwise, ABTAO will put the participant in contact with some reliable local insurance company.

Responsability limits:

ABTAO is not responsible for any delay, itinerary changes due to weather conditions, other operators' negligence out of ABTAO´s control or force majeur or acts of nature.

ABTAO is not responsible for injuries or death of a participant during an expedition nor for any damage to third party property made by the participants.

The participant agrees to follow the group leader instructions in order to prevent or avoid risky conditions that might affect the participant's life or physical condition as well as third party property.

In case of accident, the injured person will pay for all expenses that his recovery may produce. ABTAO will not take any responsibility.

Due to the unpredictable and variable conditions of nature, we can not warrant the observation af all species, animal or botanic, called out in the programs nor can we warrant the access to some places.

Personal gear:

The participant of any expedition must carry a minimum equipment suitable for it . ABTAO will make available a list of what you should bring at reservation as well as the rest of the documentation .
